On December 17-18, 2006 the final conference of the Russian-Polish project “School - Centre of Community Activism” was held in Krasnoyarsk. The educators from the Altai Republic, the Khakassia Republic and Penza Oblast, who had participated in the activities of the project, were invited to the final conference.

In September 2006 the Krasnoyarsk Centre for Community Partnerships (Russia) and the Community Information Association “Educator" (Poland) launched the Russian-Polish joint project “School - Centre of Community Activity”. The project was carried out with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. Three seminars for Russian community school educators and one study trip to Poland took place in the framework of the project.

Poland was represented by Ms Iolanta Tesz, the coordinator of the project “School - Centre of Community Activity” and Ms Malgorzata Kowalewska, the director of a community school in Fornetka Village.

At the final conference the project coordinators in the regions (T. Zelenetskaya, The Republic of Khakassia, N. Pushkinova, The Republic of Altai, T. Makeenko, Penza Oblast) shared the results of the realization of the project in their corresponding regions. The participants presented activities carried out in the framework of the project, as well as shared experienced of their everyday work. They also planned their further work to promote civic nity activism based on the knowledge and experiences gained during the project.
