In December 2006 in the city of Severodvinsk the Festival of Youth Initiatives took place. At an exhibition of the Festival the participants presented their reports of the projects that were carried out during 2006 in the framework of the programme “The Youth of Severodvinsk”.

Among the participants there were the Headquarters of Senior High School Students, the Education Centre “Invite”, School # 23, School #7, School #29, Studio-School “Contact”, as well as other youth organizations. Students from other schools were also invited to the Festival.

The Festival had an interesting and a very busy programme. One could learn about activities of the youth organization from multi-media presentations, such as “Projects The Youth of Severodvinsk”, “Searching Expeditions”, “Studio-School Contact”, “Alternative Clinic” and other initiatives.

There were also held an Obstacle Zone sports competition, stage presentations by the Alternative Clinic, the team “OK-City” of School # 24, a presentation of the Studio-School Contact, and a show fight of “ancient Russian knights”.

In the framework of the Festival, the round table “Philanthropy as a system: problems and perspectives” was held for educational institutions by the Education Centre “Invite”. Elena Efremova, a representative of the New Eurasia Foundation, also conducted a master class “The role of evaluation in the development of new approaches to the work of social organizations”.
