The organizers of the conference planned to strike a balance to the first phase of the project aimed to contribute to the development of civic activism at the grass roots level by promoting the community schools movement and creating a sustainable networking system.
Also, the community schools resource centres presented regional projects that were carried out between 2005 and 2007.
New Eurasia Foundation invited representatives of the community schools resource centres and NGOs working in community education, as well as representatives of donor organizations.
