Krasnoyarsk Centre for Community Partnerships is glad to announce an essay contest, which has already become a good tradition to celebrate the International Community Schools Day. Students of community schools in all Russian regions are invited to participate and submit essays on “Why would I call other children to study in my school?”

Students from Grades 7 to 11 may take part in the contest. An in independent selection board will define the winners. The results of the contest will be made public on March 1, 2007 on the web-site of KCCP - http://www.kccp.ru/.

The board will also select 5 essays in contest for the People’s Choice Award. The essays will be published on the web-site of KCCP. Anyone willing to leave their votes for a particular essay will be able to do so on the web-site of the community schools movement.

The winners will receive commemorative prizes. The best essays will be published in the bulletin “Sotrudnichestvo” and on the web-site of KCCP.

The contest is organized by Krasnoyarsk Centre for Community Partnerships.
